What the widget does.

The Minyut widget adds a small chat launcher to your site. Visitors ask questions, Minyut searches your uploaded knowledge, and the chatbot replies in your configured tone.

Loads your chatbot settings

The script reads the data-token from your embed tag, fetches the matching widget configuration, and applies your dashboard settings such as color, position, bot name, welcome message, and branding.

Renders safely on your site

The widget renders inside a Shadow DOM. That keeps the chat UI isolated from most page CSS, so theme styles from your website do not accidentally break the launcher, panel, or message bubbles.

Answers from your knowledge

When a visitor asks a question, the widget sends the query and recent conversation context to your chatbot endpoint. Minyut retrieves relevant knowledge chunks and returns a concise answer.

Visitors see the answer only. Source metadata remains available to the product for logs, analytics, and debugging, but it is not shown in the embedded chat UI.

Respects chatbot status

A chatbot should be ready before it appears to visitors. If documents are still processing, wait until the dashboard shows the chatbot as ready before testing on your live site.
